Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Tarangire National Park – The Elephant Sanctuary
Your adventure begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your Joyful Safaris And Tours representative welcomes you. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha for orientation and overnight stay at the elegant Grand Melia Lodge.

Early the next morning, depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours). Explore the “Elephant Playground,” home to one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania, along with giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and unique wildlife like secretary birds and agama lizards. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch and continue your game drive before heading to Karatu.

Day 2: Karatu ➜ Serengeti National Park
