Godson tVerified Joyful safaris are Absolutely Top Notch I had an absolutely incredible day trip to Materuni and the coffee tour—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish! The journey itself was beautiful, with lush green scenery and fresh mountain air that immediately set the tone for a relaxing and refreshing day. Materuni village is stunning, nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, and offers a perfect escape into nature and local culture. The hike to the Materuni Waterfalls was just the right mix of adventure and enjoyment. Surrounded by dense vegetation, we walked through banana farms and small local paths while learning about the area from our friendly and knowledgeable guide. Reaching the waterfall was breathtaking—the sight and sound of the cascading water made it all worthwhile, and even taking a dip in the cool pool below was unforgettable! The coffee tour was equally amazing and such a unique hands-on experience. From learning how coffee beans are grown, dried, roasted, and ground the traditional way, to actually participating in the process ourselves—it was both fun and educational. The singing and dancing during the coffee preparation added such a joyful and authentic touch. And of course, the freshly brewed coffee at the end was absolutely delicious—the best I’ve ever had! What truly made this trip special was the warmth and hospitality of the local people. Everyone was welcoming, engaging, and genuinely happy to share their culture and traditions. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It’s the perfect blend of nature, culture, and adventure. Definitely a highlight of my trip and an experience I’ll never forget! Chloe tVerified 10/10 – Our Dream Safari with Joyful Safaris and Tours From the very first interaction with the office team at Joyful Safaris and Tours, to the incredible experience with our guide, everything was simply amazing—you have our eternal thanks. We reached out to several companies while planning our dream vacation, but unlike the others who seemed focused only on making a sale and constantly followed up after our inquiry, the team at Joyful Safaris stood out immediately. Janet gave us a completely different experience. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always available to answer our questions—this was even before we had made any booking. Once we confirmed our safari, Janet continued to go above and beyond. He remained at our disposal throughout, providing guidance, options, and assistance—even with matters outside our safari package—right up until our arrival and even after the safari had ended. Our guide, Swahibu, was equally exceptional. We met him on the first day at our lodge, and from that moment—and even now—you could feel complete confidence in his knowledge, ability, and genuine desire to make sure we had the best possible experience. Thanks to his expertise, we saw everything you could hope for on a safari, including the Big Five, cheetahs in pursuit of prey, an incredible variety of birds, and so much more. His driving skills made us feel safe at all times, and his instinct for finding the perfect spots made every moment unforgettable. We would like to extend our deepest thanks to janet and Armstrong for their dedication and care in helping us achieve our dream safari. We will always be grateful. Thank you, Joyful Safaris and Tours. Kondo DVerified Unforgettable memories We participated in a 4-day, 3-night safari tour. The food and accommodation were impeccable, and the tour operator always kept in touch and looked out for us. Our guide and driver were cheerful and always entertained us, and the much-anticipated game drive was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour company. We had no problems and it was a wonderful trip. SenaiVerified Joyful indeed! Communication with Naite was easy since she responded quickly. The price was reasonable. Due to renovation of one lodge we got an upgraded rented lodge which was very nice. Our driver Logan was great. He was very competent explaining everything we saw on the game drives and also additional information. He drove safe and in a way that we could observe the animals very well. He was easy to talk to and a pleasant part of our group. I would recommend joyful safari anytime. Bianca DVerified Great safari experience We can really recommend Joyful safaris and tours. They adapted everything to our needs and responded very quickly. The price is really fair. We especially enjoyed the tour with Logan, our tour guide. He is a real expert and showed us the right places to see the animals perfectly. rossana vVerified Joyful fornisce acqua e snack. Kayla BVerified Incredible Trip! My family and I went to Tanzania to hike Kilimanjaro. We had the best experience with Moses, our guide, and he helped us through the entire process. This trip was incredible and we will never forget it! I highly recommend this as it was life changing! Frank BVerified Just Perfect! We spent twelve days in Tanzania on a charity medical mission with Interplast in Wasso, Loliondo district, to perform surgeries on patients from the Maasai tribe at the small Sakala Hospital. During this time, Moses was our driver and accompanied us as our guide for an additional two days on safari to the Ngorongoro- Crater and the Tarangire National Park after the mission. I wholeheartedly want to give an extremely positive review for Moses and his entire team, because he was undoubtedly a fantastic guide and guide. When looking for an ideal guide for such a mission, many would agree that you seek someone who is competent, experienced, friendly, and gives you a sense of security—not only through his calm demeanor, careful and precise planning, and equally competent colleagues but also through his technical equipment in form of perfectly maintained and modern jeeps used to transport the group. Additionally, you’d want someone who can provide knowledgeable information about the landscape and wildlife and someone you simply enjoy having around during such an intense time. Moses and his team (Ombeni, Said, and Ismael) possess all these qualities in a truly perfect way. I can wholeheartedly recommend Joyful- Safaris to anyone interested and would like to sincerely thank Moses and his team for this wonderful time, wishing him all the best for his future. Frank Busse Jim AVerified Top of the world, ma! My wife and I trekked to the top of Kilimanjaro, with Moses Naiman as our guide. We could not have had a better experience, and encourage others to ask for him specifically. He is very experienced and delivered service above and beyond our expectations. Evan MVerified Kilimanjaro by the Lemosho Route! Amazing! Trekking Kilimanjaro with my father-in-law for his 60th birthday was an unforgettable adventure. We took the Lemosho route and were amazed by the stunning landscapes and fascinating history of the region. Pushing our physical limits to reach the summit was a monumental achievement, and it was made possible by our incredible guide, Moses. He and his team ensured our safety and comfort every step of the way, from surprising us with tea breaks to preparing fantastic meals at camp. When some of us were experiencing nausea, Moses and his team were exceptionally patient and supportive, prioritizing our health and ensuring we had the nourishment and time we needed to continue safely. It was a truly remarkable experience that we all cherish.
