Singita Mara River Tented Camp is one of the most exclusive luxury camps in the Northern Serengeti, set in the remote Lamai Triangle overlooking the Mara River. Known for its refined style and eco-conscious design, this intimate camp offers front-row access to the Great Migration and some of Tanzania’s most dramatic wildlife encounters.
Singita Mara River Tented Camp is located in the far north of the Serengeti ecosystem, within the Lamai Triangle, a remote section bordering Kenya’s Masai Mara. The camp lies directly on the Mara River, offering rare, unobstructed views of the wildebeest river crossings between July and October.
The location is private, wild, and away from typical tourist routes, ensuring an exclusive safari experience.
With just six luxury tents, this intimate camp offers a blend of simplicity, elegance, and exceptional comfort. Every tent is thoughtfully designed with a light ecological footprint and modern style.
Room features:

Singita Mara River Tented Camp offers personalized, low-impact activities led by expert field guides. The surrounding region is rich with wildlife and far less crowded than central Serengeti.
Things to do:
Morning and afternoon game drives
Witnessing the Mara River crossings during the Great Migration
Guided walking safaris
Big cat tracking and wildlife photography
Birdwatching along the river and plains
Optional wellness treatments in-camp
The camp is open all year, but the best time to visit is from July to October, during the Great Migration season. This is when thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores cross the Mara River, often pursued by predators such as lions and crocodiles.
The green season (December to March) also offers excellent game viewing, fewer tourists, and lush landscapes.
