Entamanu Ngorongoro is a luxury safari camp located on the remote northwestern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Operated by Nomad Tanzania, the camp offers spectacular views across the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti plains. The camp is designed as a sustainable, low-impact property using locally sourced materials and handcrafted interiors created by Tanzanian artisans.

Amazing company brilliant guide A brilliant company and an amazing camp. Our itinerary was across three camps including this one. This was the most luxurious and largest of the three camps. The crater was spectacular and well worth the early start. I also did a walk with a guide from camp which was brilliant. Our guide Manu who was with us for this and the Tarangire national park and was fantastic. Can’t recommend highly enough. We were a family of four with 16 year old twins. A trip to remember

First in the crater Our family of five (2 teens, 1 tween) stayed in the family tent. This was a luxurious haven in which to relax following all the amazing safari adventures in the crater. Clean rooms, lovely views, and the main lodge gathering areas are very inviting. The lodge is very close to the entrance of the crater and we were the first ones down the ramp every morning of our stay enjoying the peace of the crater at sunrise with no one around except for the animals...it was very special. The lodge staff were very sweet, even playing a round of Mancala with our youngest daughter. Thanks, Dafai! Enjoyed the hike to the nearby Masai boma, even if it's a bit cliche -- the village people were very warm and made us feel welcome. Would definitely come back to Entamanu next time we visit the crater.

A FAIRYTALE We had a wonderful two night stay at Entamanu. This lodge is the epitome of quiet elegance - it is like being invited to a welcoming home in an enchanted forest. The fireplaces, endless views, cosy corners and fantastic service all make for an amazing experience. Nothing is loud or exaggerated, but rather calmly comforting in every way. Each detail has been thought of to effortlessly make a guest’s stay easy and relaxed. The staff complement this wonderful Nomad ethos. Most of the staff have worked for Nomad for a very long time and have been given opportunities to grow within the Nomad family.
