Safari Overview

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route is one of the most breathtaking and highly recommended trekking adventures in Africa, offering a perfect balance of scenic beauty, gradual acclimatization, and high summit success rates. This 8-day Kilimanjaro trekking experience takes you through ever-changing landscapes inside the legendary Kilimanjaro National Park, starting from lush rainforest zones where Colobus monkeys swing through the canopy, and gradually transitioning into dramatic moorlands, alpine deserts, and finally the icy summit zone of Uhuru Peak (5,895m).

Operated in the spirit of Joyful Safaris and Tours, this journey is designed for trekkers who want a premium, well-supported, and unforgettable mountain experience. The western approach via Londorossi Gate is quieter and more exclusive, making it ideal for travelers seeking a more private Kilimanjaro climbing adventure away from crowded trails. Along the way, you may also spot wildlife such as blue monkeys in the forest zone and high-altitude bird species soaring above the Shira Plateau.

After your successful summit, the adventure can be extended into a classic Tanzania safari across the Serengeti plains or a relaxing beach escape in Zanzibar, creating a complete East African travel experience
