Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This vibrant safari gateway city sits at the foot of Mount Meru and serves as the perfect starting point for your Tanzania safari adventure.
After check-in, enjoy a detailed safari briefing covering the journey ahead, including the national parks, wildlife encounters, and travel logistics. The rest of the day is yours to relax and recover from your journey while preparing for the exciting days ahead.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour scenic drive from Arusha. This spectacular park is widely known as one of the best wildlife safari destinations in Tanzania, famous for its giant baobab trees and large concentrations of African elephants.
Your full-day game drive offers incredible opportunities to witness elephants moving in family groups, often gathering near the Tarangire River. The park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and countless antelope species. Bird lovers will enjoy spotting colorful species such as hornbills, kingfishers, and eagles among the more than 500 recorded bird species.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to enjoy the wild surroundings while watching animals move across the plains. In the evening, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, continue your safari to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 1.5 hours away. This beautiful and diverse park is renowned for its rich ecosystems, ranging from dense forests and grassy floodplains to the alkaline lake itself.
The park is especially famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, often seen resting on acacia branches. Large troops of baboons are commonly found near the forest entrance, while hippos, elephants, buffalo, and playful monkeys can often be spotted throughout the day. Along the lakeshore, flamingos gather in striking pink formations, creating stunning views for photography and sightseeing.
As you explore the park, you will also visit the hot springs and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. By late afternoon, transfer to your lodge in Karatu for a peaceful evening.

Lake Manyara – Central Serengeti
Begin the day with an early breakfast before departing for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous safari destinations in Africa. The drive takes approximately 4–5 hours, offering beautiful views of the highlands and open plains.
Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, embark on a thrilling full-day game drive through the endless savanna landscapes that make this park legendary. The Serengeti is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests.
Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing land — one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles.
As the sun sets over the plains, enjoy the magical golden light of the Serengeti before heading to your lodge for an overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Airport
After an early morning departure, travel to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, approximately 3 hours from the Serengeti. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best places in Africa for Big Five safari viewing.
Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive across its rich grasslands, wetlands, and forested areas. Here, you have excellent chances of spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards in a single day. The crater floor also supports hippos, flamingos, hyenas, jackals, and large numbers of zebras and wildebeests.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool before beginning your transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
This final day offers a spectacular ending to your luxury Tanzania safari holiday, filled with some of the best wildlife sightings on the continent.
