What a magnificent, stunning gem of a hotel close to Arusha city center. It's amazing. As a counterpoint to the hectic, busy crowded streets of Arusha, you enter the green, luscious grounds of the coffee Lodge and instantly feel at peace. The rooms are far more than rooms, they are little houses complete with fireplaces, giant very comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom and private decks looking out over the gardens. But that is only the beginning because it's real beauty lies within the staff who are incredibly helpful and warm and accommodating.

The restaurant service was outstanding. We were particularly impressed that the staff remembered us by name each time, and we enjoyed being served by Dennis on our final morning. We also appreciated the Guest Relations team, specifically Irene and Amrit, for proactively checking in on us.

After the flight from the Lake Manyara we had a not so long drive to the Arusha Coffee Lodge, too bad we only stayed a half day and night there. It is beautiful. The service and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed the setting tremendously, even with the down pour of rain. After short hours of sleep we had to be on our way to the Kilimanjaro air port for our flight back home.
