Overview
Rhino Lodge is an eco-friendly safari lodge located a few hundred metres from the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania.
Originally the home of Henry Fosbrooke, the first Conservator of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the lodge has retained its rustic character while providing comfortable accommodation close to the crater. Situated at an altitude of 2,200 metres, Rhino Lodge offers easy access to the Seneto descent road into the crater and is one of the closest and most affordable lodges near the crater rim. The lodge features 24 semi-detached rooms overlooking the surrounding montane forest and Mount Oldeani.
